Auto Update and Manifest Files

Understand Auto Update and Manifest files

Auto update is a built-in mechanism in many Ethernet based Crestron devices, that allows devices (such as 3-series controls systems, TSW-x52 and TSW-x60, AM-200/300 and others) to download firmware, program and project files from a remote server, and apply them.

SyncPro CloudOS uses the auto update and manifest files to update firmware and software files to devices.

To make sure this works, please connect the auto-update signals to the devices' auto-update deice extender signals.
